DO NOTs of the call offer outreach:
🚫 Do not say “jump on a call” — this phrase only annoys people
🚫 Do not structure your phrase in a way that presumes that another person is more interested in this conversation than you are. eg “If you’d like I will send you a link..”
🚫 Do not pitch your offer (partnership or otherwise) on the first iteration
🚫 Do not use long dim intros like “To tell you the truth, there are so many things we can discuss and there are so many people w have in common. Take for instance, Jane — she is our common denominator, and we are both her friends...”
🚫 Do not use generalities like “hello, Sir”, “Hope you’ve been doing well”, “How are you today, Madame”, etc. Use only first name and a simple “Hi”
